How to create Partnership Agreement?

We use HubSpot’s Quote tool to generate partnership agreements. The process is similar to creating a client quote, but with a few important details.

Step 1: Create a Deal

  1. Navigate to Deals in HubSpot.

  2. Click Create deal.

  3. Place the deal in the Partnership pipeline.

  4. Select the stage Agreement.


Step 2: Fill in Partnership Details

Once the deal is in the Agreement stage, HubSpot will prompt you to complete the following fields:

  • Type of partnership 

  • Commission %

    • Standard: 10% referral commission for 12 months


Step 3: Create a Quote

  1. From the deal, click Create quote.

  2. Fill in the following fields:

    • Client name

    • Company

    • Other required details

⚠️ Important: You must select at least one line item.

  • It doesn’t matter which item or what price you choose.

  • This is only a system requirement—the line item and price will not be visible to the client.


Step 4: Select the Correct Template

When choosing the quote template:

  • Make sure you select Partnership Agreement.


Step 5: Review the Preview Page

Before finalising, check that all required information is correct and visible:

  • ✅ Client details (name, company, and address)

  • ✅ Commission %


Step 6: Create the Agreement

Once everything is correct, click Create quote.
This will generate the Partnership Agreement for client sharing and signature.
